The location was superb, with nearby local gems like Tico tico Korea and Barrio Sesamo SL. The room had an awesome view, making for a perfect stay while munching on those delicious local eats.

A few hiccups, the TV had no English options and the mini fridge contents were missing, giving me a mini panic attack about charges! The room felt a bit snug, and watch your head on the door-just saying.

Good small and modern place to stay 1 mile away from The Room. Large room with magnificent views over the park. The bed is big and the location is favourable and magnificent. Best, efficient staff, hot breakfast.

The view from the roof terrace was fine. Breakfast could be more varied. Great location near the beach as well.

This was my luxurious stay on holidays. I loved the hotel, everything was modern here. The staff were amazingly attentive and very amiable. The rooms were a nice size here with views of the port, the sofas, as example. The breakfast was savoury and rich with English meals:)))

Noise issues from busy streets kept me awake!!! Clearer directions on parking fees needed to avoid unexpected surprises!!! Missing in-room amenities such as a kettle or fan would enhance comfort tremendously!!!

I loved how this hotel was just a short stroll away from Mercado del Puerto, where I could indulge in local delights. It was only about a 15-minute walk to the beautiful Playa Las Canteras, perfect for a relaxing day by the sea.

Family with children perfect getaway

The staff were friendly and helped create a warm environment, they really went the extra mile when they found my son's teddy bear and sent it to us in Eastern Europe. The room was super clean and we loved the beautiful view from the roof terrace, it was like a postcard. Seeing the ships and boats from up there made it extra special for the kids.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but worth it for the experience.

Great stay with a beautiful roof terrace view and clean, functional rooms. The air conditioning took some figuring out, but overall, I would come back!

Our room was spacious with a lovely view, and the bed was really comfortable-slept like a log! The powerful shower. It was also super clean, which I really appreciated. Plus, we had a coffee maker, even though the coffee capsules after check-in had a price tag. Nice touch, but I wish it was complimentary for more than just the first round. All in all, really enjoyable stay!

Hotel Matilde By Grupo Matilde has a particularly good location in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, right by a lovely promenade and choice of good restaurants. the hotel is in close proximity to the La Isleta nature reserve further north.
